*4th of July*

Happy 4th of July!! So the fam came in town for a week of fun :) We started off the week at the Stadium of Fire! This year it was with David Archuletta and Brad Paisley, it was such a good show!

Monday: We started off the day very early to watch Logan run the 10k at the Freedom run in Provo. He ended up getting 8th place overall and 2nd in his age group! Way to go Logan!!!! Such a stud!!

...We then went over to join Lando and Becs at their ward breakfast...

...And later that night we had a BBQ with Corys fam and had fun with fireworks! I lit my very first firework this year!!

Tuesday: we spent a few hours at the lake on our boat "Misty" (we name everything :))

Wednesday: AMERICAN IDOL LIVE CONCERT!!!! :) (We somehow talked mom into staying after and getting autographs) Leah got a few signatures and Logan got a picture with his love!

(... and Logan was so happy and giddy the rest of the week because of this hahaha...) Here are a few other pics i got...

Here we are at dinner on the last night they were here, we had such a fun week!! I love that they were able to spend a whole week up here, and i miss them already!!!

*22nd Birthday*

This year my mom came up to visit so we could celebrate our birthday together! It is so fun having the same birthday as her but it is even more fun when we can share it together!

We took a walk up to bridal veil falls to start off the day...
...Then had dinner at La Jolla Groves with everyone...

...I love this picture of Cory and I! :) As if the Rascal Flatts tickets he got me for our anniversary were not enough, he also got me a chair i can lay out on in the backyard! :) He is full of surprises and way too good to me!!!...

...My cute sister in law made us Justin Bieber shirts, how cute!! (We watched his never say never documentary and are now obsessed!! haha)......

It was a blast having my mom here with me for a few days! Happy 22 and 48 to us!! (doesn't she look WONDERFUL for 48!!???) Love you mom!
Happy Birthday to Us!!

*1 year!!*

May 1st was our one year anniversary! ONE YEAR!? I cannot believe it! This year has been the best year of my life, we have never been happier!! So we decided to celebrate by going to Vegas for a few days! It was so nice being able to spend time in the SUN... oh, and it was nice spending time with each other! haha :)

One day we decided to walk the strip so of course we had to stop by the m&m and coke factory...

...If you know me at all you know that m&ms are my absolute favorite!!!...

...We stopped in the Paris hotel to see what food they had to offer. For those of you who don't know, Cory served part of his mission in France and so he wanted to see if the Paris hotel had true french food! This chocolate crescent was delicious!...

...But Cory was very disappointed when the french fries turned out to not be the real deal! :(...

...We also went and saw the Mystere Cirque Du Soleil show one night. Very cool!!!...

I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband! I could not imagine my life without him and i cannot wait for many more anniversaries to come! :)

*Our first christmas*

It is about time i post our christmas pics! haha Well this was our very first christmas together... so fun! Here i am with all my girls from work at our christmas party, i love the girls i get to work with! :)

This year we decided to spend our first christmas in AZ. We were able to go down for an entire week, and like always it flew by! But oh my goodness was i so grateful to be out of the snow and in 70 degree weather!

Here we are at the Klepinger family christmas party. These are all the cousins that could make it!

Love the Payne family :)

Christmas morning..

We drew names this year for our gift exchange and Becca got Cory. She was so clever and got him a mini model of his Mustang... poor baby!

With the fam at the temple lights... notice Cory's shorts! That is all he wore that week haha! We had such a fun week with everyone and it is always hard leaving!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

* :) *

In 3 days we will have been married 7 months... 7 months can you believe that!!?? It has flown by but let me tell you, we have had so much fun! Seriously has been the best 7 months ever! Well i think it has been for Cory also, up until he sold his car at least.. but hey, now he knows how i feel!!!
We are now the proud owners of Lucy the Lexus and Maxeem the Maxima. They are nothin' like the mazda and mustang but it is nice not having car payments and being able to drive in the snow! Oh the sacrifices you make for love :)

But on the bright side, went on a little shopping spree and now have cute matching Nike Free shoes :)

Cory's dad has some 5th row seats to the Jazz games and we have had the opportunity to go to a couple :). It is so cute watching cory when we are at these, he is so star struck being so close to the players!! It is way fun being that close, i can practically feel Deron Williams sweat!

Had to get a D Will jersey!

So if you get to the game 2 hours early you can get autographs from some of the players, so of course we didn't pass this up and went!!! :) Seriously, so cute seeing Cory so excited to meet the players :)

This Thanksgiving was my first thanksgiving away from my family, but his family never fails to make me feel welcomed! We went down to the Wennerholm grandparents house in St. George, and look how pretty it was down there! Maybe i liked it so much because it kinda looks like parts of AZ doesn't it??

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

*October 2010*

Last weekend my parents came up to Utah to visit :). Not just because they miss us but they had to come see my primary program in my ward. haha I love the support of the fam! :) But yes... for those of you that don't know, i am the primary chorister in my ward. My reaction to this when they first called me was tears, and fear and the thought of 'why would they call me, i don't sing!'. But after praying and much thought and reading about how important this calling is (no pressure) and realizing you don't need an amazing voice to conduct a primary, i have to admit it is actually a lot of fun! So it was so much fun showing my kids off to my family!!
But while my parents were here for a few days, we had fun being together! Oh how i hate living so far away from them!!

After a temple session, our first one all together :)

At dinner..

Mom and dad enjoying the season of fall which AZ never experiences..

...And Happy Halloween!!!!

Can you believe that this time a year ago was when Cory and I started dating!?? And can you believe we have been hitched for 6 months!?? This has been the best year of my life and i can't wait for the rest of it!
